From January 2015, you as a home or business owner are now responsible from the maintenance of your waste water system under a new code of practice regulated by the environmental agency.

If you have a septic tank that discharges directly into a surface water, you will need to replace or upgrade your treatment system by 1st January 2020.

Generally, your septic tank will require an annual empty to remove detergents that are harmful to your septic tank this will ensure you avoid problems such as your system backing up.

To meet the general binding rules, you must get the sludge that builds up in your sewage treatment plant removed before it exceeds the maximum capacity.

All we require from our customers is good access to your system i.e. no low trees and a hard-standing area.

It is down to the driver’s discretion on arrival to see if the job can be completed safely and without any damage. If not, this may still be chargeable to cover our fuel and mileage.
